Spring 2021 League -- 7v7 Football

Our Friday night doubleheader league is back!  Online registration will open on 12/1.   Registration is done by team, not by player.  A formal registration link will be posted on this webpage.  $100 deposit is due to lock your team spot.  It will be applied to the $400 team fee.  It is nonrefundable beginning 2/15/2021.

Deadline to register your team and guarantee a spot is February 14th, 2021. 

NEW FOR 2021 -- with new LED lights installed at OCP, we will play games in two blocks: 6pm/7pm, and 8pm/9pm.

There are two components to the entry fee.  The league fee of $400 is paid before the season starts, and then referee fees are paid in cash directly to the referees before each game.   Referee fee is $40 per team per game.  (two referees scheduled per game, each team covers one of the referee's fees.)

Divisions are set by grade for Fall 2021, and we have five divisions:

  • Rising 5th grade (current 4th graders)
  • Rising 6th grade
  • Rising 7th grade
  • Rising 8th grade
  • Rising 9th grade (current 8th graders)


Roster should be zoned to the same school.  Limited exceptions can be made (such as Frisco teams in the younger divisions, or a player from Town A wanting to play but his town doesnt have a team playing in his grade.)  Email Jeff with any questions.


GAME SCHEDULE (projected -- may bump up to Spring Break weeks for scrimmage games.  Plan is to NOT play on Good Friday, but as you can see, the late spring break and early end-of-school dont give us much room for makeup games.  )

*  3/19 = scrimmages
*  3/26 = week 1
* 4/2 = OFF (Easter Weekend)
* 4/9 = week 2
* 4/16 = week 3
* 4/23 = week 4
* 4/30 = finals

FINALS -- all teams play on finals day, all teams have doubleheader.  Top 4 teams essentially have a bracket to crown a league champ, and all other games are set up to have competitive matchups.

Soft Shell Helmets Required Starting 2020

We follow Texas State 7on7 rules for most all parts of our rules.  They announced last year that starting 2020 they were mandating soft shell helmets for all their events, and we are going to follow suit.  Their website is, check it out.  NOTE:  we will follow all of their criteria for an acceptable helmet EXCEPT for #1.  But, keep their criteria in mind if you know your child will be competing in their events in the future so you might not have to purchase multiple helmets of the course of a few years.


Each and every player must complete the waiver and conduct form, which will be linked below once it's ready.

Old Celina Park

We will have 8 fields in play at Old Celina Park multi-use fields. These are on the north part of the park.

OCP Baseball #3

These 2 football fields are painted in the outfield of our big baseball field, which is field #3, back-left as you walk up.

Bobcat Stadium

we have 3 fields at Bobcat stadium. 2 are on the game field; 1 is in the grass behind the East-side bleachers;
